Dr. Jennifer Snyder

Willoughby Location

Dr. Jennifer Snyder strives to provide her patients with the best possible dental experience! She is committed to continuing her education above and beyond the standard yearly requirements to bring her patients the latest dental techniques and technology. With hundreds of hours of continuing education and ten years experience, she is a member of the prestigious Spear Education community focusing on high level cosmetic dentistry and clinical education. Dr. Snyder has also completed extensive training at the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in filler and botox treatments. 

Dr. Snyder grew up in Highland Heights, OH, went to high school at Gilmour Academy where she graduated top five in her class, and then went on to play tennis in college at the top ranked , Washington and Lee University where the team won a National Indoor Championship. After he undergraduate training, then she stayed in Virginia after college to attend Virginia Commonwealth Dental School, graduating with honors in the top of her class and receiving scholarships for her academic performance. In her senior year of dental school, she was one of the seniors selected to participate in the advanced periodontal selective further advancing training in crown lengthening and bone grafting. She also won awards for her clinical performance in general dentistry. 

Next, she was accepted into a competitive residency after dental school at the hospital-based program at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Here she furthered her training in comprehensive dentistry, oral surgery, medically compromised patients, children's dentistry, and working with both anxious and special needs patients by receiving training in oral and IV sedation.

Dr. Jennifer Snyder decided she wanted to be a dentist at five years old looking up to her father, Dr. Thomas Snyder, as a role model and mentor. She is the third generation of dentists in her family!

 When she's not taking care of patients, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her husband and one year old son,  playing tennis, hiking with her dogs and trying out restaurants all around Cleveland. She is also an avid sports fan and loves watching all of Cleveland's teams, and the Boston Bruins (thanks to her husband).

Dr. Ryan Winks

Willoughby Location

Dr. Ryan Winks grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he went on to attend the University of Michigan. He received the prestigious Navy scholarship for dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with honors in the top of his class in 2014.

After dental school, Dr. Winks went into an advanced education general dentistry residency through the Navy, where he received training in comprehensive dentistry, root canals, and oral surgery, including wisdom teeth extractions. After a successful residency, the Navy appointed Ryan to become the sole provider for 1,200 personnel at sea. After his work on the USS Wasp, he was one of six lieutenants to be selected early out of over two hundred candidates for the Lieutenant Commander rank for excellence in dentistry and leadership. Dr. Winks furthered his excellent surgical skills and completed an implant program and the Cleveland Implant Institute and places implants at our Willoughby location. 

When he's not taking care of patients, Dr. Winks enjoys playing golf and watching all sports, but especially football. Dr. Winks is an avid Michigan fan. You can call that an office divided! 

Kelly

Scheduling Coordinator

Willoughby Location 

Kelly has been taking care of patients in Willoughby for over 20 years. She is our scheduling coordinator and new patient concierge. She loves helping patients understand and clarify their dental treatment needs. Kelly makes each patient feel welcome into the practice and makes sure patients can get in to the office at their convenience. 

You will find Kelly watching her two son's sports activities, spending time with family and friends, and gardening. 

Cathie

RDA

Willoughby Location 

Cathie has been assisting the dentists at our practice for over 20  years, and she received her training from the Cleveland Institute of Medical and Dental Assistants. Cathie appreciates being an integral part of the process of helping patients achieve optimal dental health.

In her free time, Cathie enjoys camping, crafting, and spending time with family, friends, and her grandchild. 

Tammy

Insurance Coordinator

With over 40 years experience in the dental field, Tammy has gained much knowledge in many areas of the practice. She has attended many continuing education courses in order to stay on top of the growing dental needs. For the past several years, her primary role has been helping patients obtain the best benefits from their insurance companies and working with them to make their dental needs affordable. 

Tammy resides in Lake county with her husband over 40 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and traveling. 

Sherry

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Willoughby Location 

Sherry has been in the dental field for over 40 years and received her expanded functions dental assisting degree from Case Western University over 20 years ago. She has the talent of helping calm down anxious patients to feel more at ease and can chat with anyone! Her favorite thing is when patients leave happier after we have improved their smile. In her free time she enjoys working out, gardening, and hiking with her dog. 

Amanda

Hygienist

Willoughby Location 

Amanda received her hygiene training from Lakeland Community College in 2019 and has been in the dental field over 10 years. She loves building relationships with patients and making a difference by educating them on their oral health. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son, husband and dog. She also enjoys kayaking and boating in the summers on Lake Erie. 

Stephanie

Hygienist

Willoughby Location 

Stephanie studied hygiene at Lakeland Community College, graduating in 2019. She enjoys building a relationship with each patient, and educating them on their individual dental hygiene needs to get them to a healthy smile. Stephanie knows that every patient is different and she makes each person feel comfortable in the dental chair. In her free time she enjoys exercising, going for hikes, baking, and spending time with friends, family , and her dogs Hank and Huey. 

Teresa

Hygienist

Willoughby Location 

Teresa has been working in the dental field since 2011 and joined the Snyder & Winks team in 2023. She is passionate about dentistry and committed to providing gentle, high quality care in a clean and safe environment where where patients feel comfortable and well cared for. When Teresa is not working, she's usually investing time where it matters most- with family! 

Bronny (Lebron James)

Office Therapy Dog

Willoughby location on Wednesdays 

Bronny is  Dr. Snyder's loveable six year-old Goldendoodle at our Willoughby location. He is currently being trained to be our office therapy dog. He has taken advanced courses in obedience and completed the canine good citizen course.

We understand the dental office can be a stressful experience and hope that Bronny can help ease anxiety. Therapy dogs have been shown to decrease blood pressure, reduce stress, and provide comfort. We work towards making our patient's experience as pleasant as possible, and having Bronny is another way we hope we can make our patients feel at home.

You may see Bronny around on Wednesdays. We understand dogs are not for everyone, so we will give the patients a heads up when he is at the office on those Wednesdays.
